  • 7 top & 5 bottom deck boards
  • Thin deck boards OK
  • Pine OK
  • Plates & corrugates OK
  • 4-way entry
  • 4” or 6” wide top and bottom lead boards
  • Allow 1 finger chipback on one stringer
  • 4” maximum spacing between boards
  • No blocks or companion stringers

B GRADE 48X40-09

  • GMA Type, 48x40, Stringer style
  • 4-way entry
  • 7 top deck boards
  • Standard 5 botton board configuration
  • Pine OK, plate OK
  • Lumber, 5/8” minimum deck board thickness
  • 4” or 6” wide top and bottom lead boards
  • 4“ wide interior boards (top & botton)
  • 1/2 runner, or short block Stringer repairs allowed on each stringer
  • Stringers can have no missing wood, allow 1 finger chipback (missing wood due to damage) on one stringer only
  • Triple blocks acceptable
